Our teaching philosophy is built on the following pillars:
• Moral Values
We believe that cognitive skills are not the only skills a child learns at school. Even more -important, according to recent research, are moral values such as conscientiousness, perseverance, sociability, and curiosity. We believe that moral development is a skill, and therefore it can be learned and taught. At Trihita Alam we strive to transmit all our students the right moral skills and values, which allow them to become the wonderful, kind, successful beings that we all know they can be.
• Play-based Learning
We believe there is a strong link between play and learning. Children are naturally curious and when they are playing, it is the perfect time for them to learn. When children are playing, they learn how to solve problems, how to recognize letters and numbers, how to express themselves, how to make friends, and how to enjoy the world around them. In Trihita Alam, all subjects are integrated and taught through playing. We believe these skills are foundations to their love of learning.
• Green Environment
Nowadays children spend most of their time indoors and away from nature. And the more time they spend viewing television or playing video games the less they are being physically active outside. Research has shown that a child’s social, psychological, academic and physical health can be greatly improved through daily contact with nature. In Trihita Alam, we provide open-air classrooms without any walls, where oxygen can circulate freely, and students will experience the outdoors as part of their daily learning and development.
• Holistic Learning
It is our goal in Trihita Alam to keep this place a safe and happy environment for children to come to everyday. We value the right of every child to enjoy their childhood and receive the freedom to develop in their own time and at their own pace. We believe that children are creative and independent thinkers, problem solvers and communicators, who deserve to experience the fun of learning and ultimately blossom to their fullest potential.
Based on these pillars we believe that Trihita Alam right now is the best place for a young child to learn, socialize, explore and flourish.
